Hops for Houses Craft Beer Festival is a collaboration between TX craft brewers and Habitat for Humanity Williamson County.
ROUND ROCK, TX — Texas Craft Beer lovers, rejoice! The Williamson County Expo Center will host the Hops for Houses Craft Beer Festival, a ticketed fundraising event to support the House That Beer Built - a Habitat for Humanity of Williamson County, TX and the craft brewing community collaboration that works to build a home for a local family.
Scheduled on Saturday, Feb. 29 from 12 p.m. - 7 p.m., the festival promises to offer a full day of fun including beer sampling, silent auction, live music, food trucks and more! Festival participants will receive 8 beer sampling tickets to be exchanged for 8 – 3oz pours from attending breweries. Additional sampling tickets will be available for purchase at the event in addition to the commemorative House That Beer Built pint glasses. There will be over 25 craft brewers from all over Central and North Texas, and craft beer connoisseurs will delight with the selection to be featured.
The Hops for Houses Craft Beer Festival is an opportunity for the community to help a local family realize their dream of home ownership. As a non-profit Christian ministry, Habitat for Humanity of Williamson County, TX brings people and communities together to create and sustain home ownership in Williamson County. In doing so, Habitat for Humanity Williamson County, TX hopes that everyone within the county have a decent place to live with hope and dignity.
