Job responsibilities will include but are not limited to…

Complete brewing process in a safe and efficient manner. This includes, but is not limited to, milling, mashing, wort boiling, cooling and transferring to fermenters, harvest and pitching yeast, dry hop with ladder or stairs, etc.
Complete cellar processes in a safe and efficient manner, such as tank CIP, carbonating, filtering etc.
Maintaining the use of standard operating procedures unless otherwise instructed.
Continue brewing existing recipes while experimenting and creating new recipes
Ensure supply of raw materials and other inventory items required for brewing and cleaning
Monitor gravity, temperature and carbonation of beer throughout the process
Assist with QA/QC including yeast viability, cell counting and diacetyl testing
Events and sales as needed to support sales team
Maintain cleanliness of all areas in the brew house
Package beer with canning, bottling and keg filling equipment
Communicate regularly and efficiently with ownership and staff
Arrive to each shift on time with a positive attitude
Be informed of beer trends locally and nationally
Maintain brewing log
Ensure walk-in cooler is stocked regularly
Prepare equipment for off-site events
Assist with all state and federal reporting
Lots and lots of cleaning brewing related equipment
Perform other duties as assigned

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 70 pounds, and be able to move kegs which weigh close to 165 pounds. Ability to climb ladders over 20 feet and perform job duties while on a ladder

Required QualificationsMinimum of 2 years brewing in a production environment that includes packaging.
Able to operate a Wild Goose Canning line
Able to operate a Meheen 6-head filler
Forklift Certified
Have a basic understanding of Excel, Word, and other programs for brewery functions, or have the ability to quickly learn the systems
Passion for craft beer

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience producing quality kettle sours
Experience with clean and wild barrel conditioning.
